“wall seems to be working.”
It works. There’s no doubt that the effect is strong.
Nothing is 100%, but it is a big upgrade, and a bunch of big upgrades in roads and technology are hitting the problem together, along with the barrier.
So people just have to find out the hard way, so they can serve as warning to others.
The Border Wall is to Illegal Invaders as Windmills are to Birds.
Because we are a good people.
That’s interesting. How long do the gates stay open?
So they all made it over the top to the other side of the bollards before they fell. Always easier to climb up than climb down.
Well.....
Bye....
Also,
Too bad so sad.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
And?
So what?
These must be "drybacks".
Watch that last step Paco...its a lulu.
That is a big challenge to designing some kind of secondary barrier to block the open gates as well - thinking opponents will find ways to attack it. Somebody needs to design better gates for managing the floods and debris, without standing wide open for two months.
"we only have so many agents"
That is an inherent constraint tonight, but in the longer term, that is a variable.
Recruiting and training is a slow process. I don't know how things are going on that front.
Redeployment of existing Agents will likely be driven big time by this tidal wave of new barrier and technology. Every month now, something is changing. By the end of next year, the cumulative change should really be driving redeployments. We will see what the bosses decide (what the data shows), but conventional wisdom is that when you get strong continuous wall system, more of the team is on the line, and less spread back in depth.
Another approach is to add "Force Multipliers" that allow the same number to do more. Like better roads let you cover more miles, or more reliable detection and tracking can help each Agent catch more on average. Aerial drones, more networked abilities for better situational awareness, etc..
Looking out a few years, robots will likely start joining the team, just as with the Military. They could guard gates 24x7, and their numbers could potentially ramp up more quickly than human recruiting and training, once they are working well.
“How long do the gates stay open?”
The monsoons generally run through July and August, and you can get flash flood gully washers in a matter of minutes - no time to manually open gates, and unsafe to try in the driving rain and heavy lightning activity, not to mention the floods themselves.
The wall is there for a reason. We do no allow foreign
nationals to determine their own U. S. Immigration rules to
benefit themselves as they enter our nation.
I don’t want to see Mexican nationals killed due to falling
from the way. Just don’t do it.
Here’s a 33 year old man that made a poor choice. That
eight months pregnant woman made the same one for her
and her unborn child.
I don’t take any pleasure from seeing these deaths.
My message is to respect our laws and live.
ATTENTION Interlopers
It’s a WALL, NOT a BRIDGE
I wish they would have built it 20ft higher just to be sure.
>> The Dems in Congress will scream the wall is killing people
Then let the Rats climb and prove it.
A fresher body in the process of being eaten by scavengers is even more effective.
Wait, what about that video that was being pushed a while back by the mainstream media in which someone apparently had little problem scaling the wall? I thought that proved that the wall wouldn’t work and the whole project should be abandoned as a waste of money.
Is it possible they were lying?
BINGO! Trip over your own clodhopper feet and bang your head on a curbstone, that counts as falling zero feet.
A lot more people are on the ground than above it!
The statistics are 100% true, but they still lie.
Please fall on the other side. Thanks.
