The last thing Louisville needs now is more businesses joining those who have packed up, shook the dust and said, Bye, to downtown. Pandemic, quarantine, riots, months of being without customers, and the elected idiots city and state are too frightened to set things aright. Vote Democrat and die.

Damn right, FRiend. Wait till the Breonna Taylor investigation wraps up and the cops involved are not arrested. Protesters will straight up burn what's left of Louisville to the ground cause our idiot mayor and Gov didn't stop these protests when they started.

“””Somewhere in the list of demands there is a demand to remove beauty items from under lock and key.”””””””””

A few years ago I was doing a job in Milwaukee. I need some drills bits and such so I stopped at the local Ace hardware store . EVERYTHING in the tool section was behind locked plexiglass.

At the Walgrees in a burb just next to Minneapolistan the Tide Pods are in lock boxes. Go figger.

If the people behind the people making these threats
crossed State lines there should be RICO charges brought.

Easy solution. Agree to a meeting with the black racists, and then arrest them for extortion when they walk in. BLM is no different than the KKK.

They are uncivilized animals devoid of any redeeming social values. To suggest that their lives matter more than anyone else’s is quite comical. There is a reason races throughout the world discriminate against them.

Dress codes are racist? So then you have to allow the pants to drop down and show us all too much, and the backwards baseball caps and tank top shirts that also sometimes show off too much , etc. Ok, got it.

I had a successful, limited production wool felting business for 34 years. I retired this year.

In the 90s, I received an email telling me to either source from *ethical wool suppliers* and publicly so state or the writer would “tell all my friends not to purchase your product*”.

I ignored it and nothing further happened.

This is more difficult to ignore.

I am also in the Louisville area. Fisher has been acting so weird during all this it is as if he has become possessed by a demon and its as if it really isn’t him talking.

I think he should be subjected to the Baker Act. It’s that bad.

Evidently Fisher inherited Tom Jurich’s files because the local media are loath to report anything untoward about the city or the government.

It’s a sweet setup for TPTB.

During the Watts Riots in the 60s the West side of Louisville rioted and when they got done a lot of businesses left and never came back.

Now we periodically get news stories about how hard it is for disabled and elderly people on the west side to go to the grocery store and things like that. And I feel for them. Those suffering the most can’t afford to move closer to businesses. I wonder if Greg Fischer would be a little tougher if they ransacked about 5 blocks of the Highlands on Bardstown Road.

But what I never see is somebody standing in front of a camera explaining how the West Side got to be so devoid of businesses. I won’t look at the Louisville Courier but I think it’s a safe bet that rag never ran story explaining why the businesses left. They ransacked the businesses of people to whom these businesses represented their life’s work. So they leave to hopefully avoid bankruptcy and for that they’re labeled greedy, uncaring, racists.

I wonder if Greg Fischer would be a little tougher if they ransacked about 5 blocks of the Highlands on Bardstown Road.

There has been some protests through the Highlands but no property damage that I can recall seeing. There was one attempt at a barbecue in front of Mayor Fischer's house but not very many ppl showed up (I was watching a livestream of it on Twitch) and they ended up going downtown.

DiscoverCard is currently running commercials patting themselves on the back because they’re donating $5 million to ‘black-owned’ restaurants and are inviting comments on their website.
