Since March 23rd, Michigan has been under one of the strictest lockdowns of the country due to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s abuse of power and the use of an outdated, World War II-era law. Using this obscure, antiquated law, Governor Whitmer has issued a blizzard of over 100 executive decrees, with no accountability to your elected representatives, no public input – and no end in sight.
Please request the petition. Besides 16 weeks already and Gov. Whitmer's latest of universal mask wearing required and required implicit bias training for all health care workers, there is no sign she'll allow the state to open.
Michigan state has such a low test positivity rate (2.5%) you’d have to assume only the nationwide eradication of this virus or an effective fully administered vaccine would be required by this governor to take her knee off your backs.
Neither is realistic.
I have trust in the Michigan voters who will not forget that it was their Democrat leaders who issued draconian shutdown orders.
Petitions are a good way to keep reminding the voters.

I'm not on facebook or any other social media other than FreeRepublic.com (for a while now). It concerns me that I hear nobody talking about this unlock michigan stuff. I think the judicial and legislative branches in Michigan have proven themselves useless in combating this off-the-rails power tripping Gov of ours.
Our only hope is a show of force by the people to curb her power. Please spread this far and wide.

The Michigan GOP were and probably still are so anti-Trump that they allowed or arranged for the election of people like Rachida Talib rather than assist Trump. The one Republican vying for my district, Conyers' seat got no support from them. Couldn't get on the ballot.

If you think the Counties represented by the Michigan State Senators and Representatives elected based on geographic population deserve to have a voice in what action the State as a whole and any subdivision by any measure can mandate must be reviewed congress and judicial branches who are somewhat more Republican (at least in theory) would try to rein in her one person dominance of a 10 million person state have failed miserably to cause her a moments recitation .

Michigan, with its lockdown and mask required policy, had more cases of COVID per capita, than Sweden, who had a lockdown optional policy. Also, lockdowns prevent acquiring herd immunity, based on real science. But why? To put you more at risk. Old people cost too much to take care of, that’s who the main target is.
And that’s why Michigan Socialist Wuhan Whitmer forced senior homes to take COVID positive patients, including the mentally ill. One guy stabbed a senior to death after this policy started.
