And those aren't cops. Real cops wouldn't stand by gawking.
They've been told to stand down, and not make arrests in these cases. That's the politicians not wanting the people of New York to know the amount of crime that is actually occurring. No paperwork? It didn't happen. Too many arrests makes the city's leaders look bad you see, and that could jeopardize their jobs. The NYPD Union is beside itself, because cops don't like being told they can't do their job. It's frustrating as hell. Why do you think so many of them are retiring?
Police work these days is no place for a man with sense of honor, duty, conscience or integrity. And it shows.
