Here we go. Judicial Watch already has a suit against Washington DC because the Mayor wouldn’t let them paint their own slogan on a Washington street - even though she had a Black Lives Matter one painted.
Expect lots of similar suits against NYC. It’ll be funny to see all the different groups demanding a street to paint. How about Mark Levin’s slogan - Fatty’s United (FU) - on Broadway across from City Hall.
De Blasio will have to spend all the money he cut from the Police Department on defending the city in court.

I think there should be much more of this kind of appropriation from the left—not so much to level an un-level playing field as to survive it. A candidate for governor has asked the City of Montpelier for permission to paint an American flag and “Liberty and Justice for All” in huge red, white and blue letters next to the “Black Lives Matter” street mural in front of the Vermont State House.
“We would like to paint ‘Liberty and Justice for All’ for the Independence Day holiday in solidarity with Black Lives Matter,” Republican John Klar said in a special event request submitted June 29 to the City of Montpelier.
He wants to “reaffirm the founding principle in our Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal.”
The weather service is predicting a tropical storm to hit NYC Friday night and into Saturday. Will the storm wash the paint away? Create a yellow mess?
Why not “America First” ???
