A TikTok video that recently went viral on social media showed a recent Harvard graduate threatening to stab anyone who said "all lives matter." In her melodrama, she tried to sound intimidating with her histrionics.

She won a huge audience as she intended. But her video also came to the attention of the company that was going to give her an internship later this summer, Deloitte, which decided it didn't want to add an intern who threatened to kill strangers who said something she didn't like.

In homage to Italy's blackshirts of the past, they wear black hoodies, don makeshift helmets and strap on ad hoc protective padding -- part lacrosse attire, part cinematic Road Warrior costume.

Wait... WAIT!!! screamed yellow-shirt.

"I've not been to the prop department for my costume yet!!"

"Take yer stinkin' hands OFF me: ya damned, filthy APES!!!"

With companies looking at social history of potential new hires, I would guess that none of the “woke” people will ever get a real job. The few Lib companies who think it would be progressive to hire a BLM riot participant will quickly discover how corrosive and destructive those people really can be in an organized environment. So these people will always be on the outside of society.

Going to pit this to use night time.

Again its the projection of the Left- what they accuse us of doing/being is precisely who they are/ what they do.

Woke Fragility. Love it.

You’re not one of those are you? The face mask police?

“You’re not one of those are you? The face mask police?”

I call them Mask NAZIs. Just quietly wearing theirs is not good enough. They want everyone else to obey, too. And boy, do they get mad when you say, “Na.”

VDH's closing paragraph is most memorable:

"The woke but godless, the arrogant but ignorant, the violent but physically unimpressive, the degreed but poorly educated, the broke but acquisitive, the ambitious but stalled -- these are history's ingredients of riot and revolution."

Earlier generations went to college mainly to become educated and develop marketable skills. They weren't very interested in ethnic and gender "studies" courses, ranting professors and woke administrators.

Not to mention the ubiquitious ‘Term Abroad’ that is so ‘required’ for students of today. This ‘international perspective’ is very expensive.

Agreed about the last paragraph. He paints them as physically weak, immature, screaming, uneducated, vile imbeciles.

Then the last paragraph hits you right between the eyes.

They ARE emotionally fragile. The BLMers are entitled and emotionally fragile as well. They’re a little more dangerous than Antifa though.

Thanks!

“Then the last paragraph hits you right between the eyes.”

That is the reason I felt obliged to quote it.

VDH has a firm grasp of the obvious, and an uncanny ability to put the obvious into excellent English prose!

The Harvard grad had it made. Harvard on the resume, a few years consulting at Deloitte and doing a halfway decent job would have propelled her into a nice paying executive assignment at a corporation or nonprofit foundation. She could have lived a comfortable progressive life with a 6 or 7 figure income, beautiful house or condo, and same minded liberal friends.

Apparently Harvard, and her parents, failed to teach her critical thinking and personal responsibility which would have contributed to her exercising good judgment. Her social justice, psychology, sociology, and philosophy professors neglected to teach her how even progressives can resort to primal behavior when it is in their self interest. If Daddy didn’t make her take out loans, he essentially threw at least $250,000 down the toilet writing checks to Harvard.

Whether she knows it now or not she has just learned her first big lesson in the world of hard knocks. Will this be a wakeup call or will she simply default to playing the role of a victim as the world passes her by? If I were betting I’d put my money on choosing the play the victim. If so, how long will Daddy and Mommy continue to support her in the basement?

That’s the punchline for our current age. “Woke Fragility” is such an apt description.

The big question is “Is she employable outside a progressive social justice do-gooder organization?”

She just flushed a big high-paying career opportunity and should be toxic to most organizations. She’s too green and young to land any board seats. She isn’t connected enough to haul down Hunter Biden style graft.

Maybe she can parlay this into a Greta gig or use it as a launchpad to Congress like AOC.

In the terminology of today's youth, LOL!

Many of these "woke" kids are the results of lax or helicoptering parenting styles which are so prevalent these days. Their parents tried to protect them from mistakes, always hovered nearby just in case an adversarial situation arose, and never let them process differing attitudes or opinions. Thus, we have the physical adults who are still emotional toddlers, who have never dealt with people who aren't like them and therefore have no idea how to behave. Mature people can actually be around people with differing opinions without breaking into fights or having to throw tantrums. "Woke" millennials lack this skill.
