Maybe Warren G. Harding. Someone started a rumor about one of Harding’s ancestors to the effect that he had black ancestry. I think Harding was asked about it and said that he didn’t know. (Harding, by the way, had the courage to go to the South as President and speak out against segregation.)

The sentiment is fine: keep updating our history. We have two Mount Rushmore-worthy presidents in FDR and Ronald Reagan. But, there is no more room on that site.
I myself like renaming some Army posts after some of our greatest warriors of the recent past, and not mere generals:
Audie Murphy of Texas
Henry Johnson of North Carolina, and
Alvin York of Tennessee
For that matter, can we figure some way to honor Ted Williams (Marine fighter pilot during Korea) and Clark Gable (Army Air Force bomber crew member during WWII)?
I like President Trump’s idea of a garden of American heroes. But think of the garden as a virtual place, with the actual memorials scattered about the country, on the oceans of the world, in the sky, and in outer space.

I know one elderly demoncrat who did just that. He sadly passed away now. He voted for the demoncrat because of ACA.
On the flip side I have met many “people of color” who said they did not vote for Trump the first time but will the second time. Why? Their answers are all the same, Trump has done more for them than a person who purported to be a “person of color” in the WH and on top of that they now have a job. It’s the economy stoopid!

Instead of that, we should carry the official portraits of the Obamas and incinerate them in the White House driveway. Or maybe the parking lot at Mount Rushmore. Or Stone Mountain.
