Our news is compromised currently, with world events not being covered, and biased, by covering some stories incompletely and yet repetitively in a grasping for straws fashion (one word, Russia).
Yet the Middle East seems to have calmed down a lot now that this man is dead. If you look at foreign coverage, the frequency of mass casualty events has slowed down a lot. It seems the world is a better place without this man in it. We know he was an ongoing danger to our troops and interests.
We also know the UN is corrupt. For many years there have been reports of their aid workers sexually abusing and raping children, raping women, forcing developing world women to “pay” for their aid with sex, and who knows what else. That needs to be investigated for a start. The whole governing body has been biased for a while now, and rather like those developing world women, I don’t think we can expect unbiased treatment. We certainly cannot expect justice. What we can expect instead is to be scapegoated and targeted, shaken down. The UN cannot govern itself, how can it govern us?
