Is OAN allowed to ask questions? Were they there and did they ask any?

Your title is wrong. She is there to hold a PRESS BEATING, not briefing.

Partner, the MSM deserves a beating each and every day.

I have a mixed reaction to all this Nascar news. It’s OK for the White House to imply that Nascar made a dumb decision to ban the Confederate battle flag at race tracks. That ban is really unnecessary because the Confederate flag is just so insignificant, and it’s not some new thing that Nascar fans popularized. It’s been around for a long time. When I was a kid in the 60s growing up on the West Coast, there were kids in my neighborhood who had Confederate flags and Union flags from the Civil War, and hundreds of toy soldiers and toy canons from the civil war. It’s part of our history, and a really overdone PC decision by Nascar to ban a historical flag.

On the other hand, whoever writes these tweets for President Trump should definitely stop writing negative comments about individuals who are outside of the political arena, such as Bubba Wallace. The President should not be getting involved in incidents connected to individuals and should not be naming those people in negative comments. Comments like that are too petty and insignificant for the President to be posting, and can appear mean-spirited and heavy-handed to the public, including many people who may think Trump actually writes all these tweets himself. It’s beneath the dignity and the importance of his office for Trump to be making implied negative comments about individuals, such as Bubba Wallace, who are outside the political arena.

When someone inside the political arena attacks Trump in a speech or an editorial, then it’s OK for Trump to defend himself and name names on Twitter or in a speech. But the political reward to risk ratio for commenting negatively on individuals outside the political arena is very poor, and whoever writes Trump’s tweets should stop that right now. If the White House wants to comment on a group of individuals in a negative way, that’s not as bad but I would still avoid doing that. President Trump made some great speeches over July 4th weekend, and these tweets about Bubba Wallace really detracted from his speeches and shifted attention away from the great ideas he spoke of over the weekend. It’s time for Trump’s writers to end all negative comments on Twitter about individuals outside of the political arena.
