They were holding “debates” on what to do about the U.S. re racial unrest and police brutality. We came THISCLOSE to their initiation of what they call a formal investigation, but a few countries, I recall Australia was one of them, were “blamed” for watering down the result of the emergency U.N. Meeting. Australia and a few others said that racial oppression against blacks “belongs to the world”, not just the U.S.
But the U.N. still hasn’t given up - they are stalking all countries for their one-world government, and the U.S. is the grand prize.

There may be more to it than that; some may have their own areas seeking independence that they don’t want recognized or aided by foreign countries - or the UN. With former colonies it is dicey; Indonesia eventually lost East Timor because of UN support for its independence. Myanmar (Burma) probably supported it for that reason; they are being portrayed as abusive of their ethnic minorities in the media regularly.
