I wish you and your wife a quick turnaround and return to health. People don’t seem to understand how dangerous this thing can be and why it’s so important we slow its spread with common sense social distancing measures until a vaccine can be deployed.

I replied to a post that was talking about COVID-19 disappearing before a vaccine could be developed. I replied with data showing it isn’t disappearing. I don’t think that’s controversial. Do you?
I would like to know numbers of those polled and locations. And most important, the exact wording of all questions.
The CDC is rotten to the core. It is an arm of the pharmaceutical companies. Their flu stats are laughable, and their COVID stats are even worse.
Something like 85% of flu deaths worldwide (or maybe 90%, can’t remember what I read) are of those 80 years old or older.
They pushed flu vaccines on the elderly for years and only very recently admitted that the elderly don’t get a good antibody reaction from the vaxes as their immune systems are weaker so bascially vaccinating people over 60 is almost useless.
There are no studies at all, ever, of swaths of the population after flu season to determine the difference of infection rates or deaths among those who got the flu fax and who did not. All they trot out is checking antibodies from vaxxed people.
Yearly flu vaccines are a HUGE HUGE money maker.
For fun I recommend going to the CDC site and finding their list of all vaccines in the US and their ingredients. I’ve checked many times. One any sane person reads the complete list of ingredietns of vaccines they may be surprised and feel more reluctant to get jabbed.
If you informed yourself on what the CDC itself says about deaths, you would know that included in the deaths total are:
Those who tested positive but had many comorbidities or conditions that actually pushed them over the edge.
Those who did not test positive but had symptoms that could be COVID.
Those who died of something else entirely, were not tested, but whose death cert was signed “COVID” anyway.
Those who were “probable cases” - ie anyone who had been around someone who tested positive.
And those who may have died from flu or pneumonia as they were all dumped into the COVID category.
The vast majority of deaths are the elderly, there are very few deaths among children, young adults or even middle aged adults.
40% of deaths occurred in nursing homes in 5 states wherein Demshevik governors ordered nursing homes to accept COVID positive patients, against Federal guidelines.
None of which explains the rapid current increase in SERIOUSLY ILL people entering hospitals and being put on ventilators. And the demographics are, thanks to the FLOYD-19 superspreader event, shifting to younger victims.
