They must be really banking on flu season where they and their water-carriers in the media can report every case of the flu as a "covid-19" case.
At some point, people have to see that deaths are declining even though 'cases' are "surging" and understand that this means the virulence of the virus is petering out.
Unfortunately; no one will ask the basic question of 'why are deaths not keeping pace with cases' and any epidemiologist who answers the question honestly will be 'cancelled' and branded a heretic.
I notice that Sweden is rarely mentioned by the fear mongers lately.
At some point Trump needs to pivot on this.
Perhaps he is just waiting until the cases-to-deaths ratio becomes so overwhelming that no one can any longer support an argument for mitigation.
He need to do something soon. He is going to have difficulty
running a campaign that is centered on Liberty and Freedom when as a practical matter they are ceasing to exist at street level.
