As much as I detest Mark Zuckerberg as a human being, it is a longstanding tradition to name hospital wings etc after wealthy benefactors, and Zuckerberg and wife earned it. To remove their names due to ‘politics’ is a greasy lefty move.

I read recently about a rich, hedge-fund alumni who donated $150 million to his alma-mater, University of Chicago.

And I thought: WHY?!

Its a good institution, but it already has a $10 billion endowment, so its not struggling for survival. U Chicago isn’t the worst leftist school, but many of the entitled leftist brats there, both in the administration and among the student body, probably categorically hate the donor anyway.

Why not give $1 million to 150 high schools? The money would be so much more appreciated and would impact so many more people.

Same goes for people like Zuckerberg and his wife.
