I don't think that's a great plan. But I appreciate you providing ideas.
  1. Your plan is not doing anything to prevent mail in voting. And it's not doing much to provide controls over mail in voting. Yes it helps to have people working at the polls. I think challenging votes after the fact is bound to eventually result in mass denial of the challenges.
  2. I don't think we are going to prevent mail in voting. Courts are ruling against challenges to mail in voting. So I think we need to focus getting controls on the balloting.
  3. Every ballot needs control numbers.
  4. Every vote should be recorded with the control number. So that if someone shows up an the poll and someone else has sent in a ballot for them. Then that ballot can be stricken and the in-person vote counted.
  5. I think there should be a control number that allows a person to check online and verify that their vote was counted and counted correctly.
  6. I also think that there should be a second control number that should be published afterwards with the votes in the final tally. So that individuals can verify that their vote was counted unchanged in the final tally.
  7. The database should be set up with control, so that all changes are captured. Any vote changes should be documented by expiring, not deleting the changed vote, and a documentation number pointing to documentation for the change. Such as an in-person challenge to a mail in vote.
  8. One recent primary checked signatures verses the record on file. Any mismatches were followed up on and the votes were only counted if the follow up successfully verified the vote.
  9. One positive from mail in voting was that many ballots were returned undeliverable. Indicating that the roles need to be cleaned up.
  10. Voter role databases also need to be examined for excessive people at the same address. Those should be examined to see if voter fraud is occurring.
