HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspected robber is dead after opening fire on a clerk who wouldn't let him pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a north Houston food store, police say. Houston police say they responded to a robbery in progress call around 10 p.m. Monday at Fulton Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the suspect had been shot. Police say the suspected robber tried to buy something with a counterfeit $20 bill. When the store clerk told the suspect the money was no good, the suspect showed his gun and opened fire once.

Fearing for his life, police say the store clerk returned fire against the suspect. The suspect was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There were no other customers inside the store at the time of the shooting. Police say there are no charges against the clerk at this time.

It’s Houston - Washington DC on the Brazos. The corpse is very likely not to be melanin deprived.

I see what you did there. So few "protesters" would even know to be upset at your writing style.

In the Apostle’s Creed, in the English of Shakespeare’s time, the word “quick” was a synonym for “living”, and “thence he shall judge the quick and the dead.”

The only BAD part(Haven’t heard from family yet) is we likely lost a future Pediatric Brain Surgeon OR Rocket Scientist in the process.

?

Do you think there isn’t video? Do right, someone likely is watching ( Certainly the LORD God Almighty).

Then again, I bet when the clerk’s lawfully discharged bullet ended his criminal life, he dropped his illegally possessed firearm.

Where are all these funny twenties suddenly coming from?

I'm not in retail, and don't know anyone, casually, who is. I have noticed that cashiers are pen checking, more.

It's obvious that this is a new tactic from China, or the DPRK, so why isn't this front page, rather than by inference?

Again, Democrats are trying to downplay the criminals passing counterfeits. The Left wants to bring down the country. Why should they be allowed to?
