Mr. McCloskey explained during his on-camera interview on Monday that he announced to the Marxist mob that they were on private property and that’s when they became enraged.
“Somebody forced the gate, and I stood up and announced that this is private property. Go back. I can’t remember in detail anymore. I went inside, I got a rifle. And when they … because as soon as I said this is private property, those words enraged the crowd,” he said.
McClosky said one of the militants pulled out a loaded pistol magazine and clicked them together and said ‘you’re next.’
“We were threatened with our lives, threatened with a house being burned down, my office building being burned down, even our dog’s life being threatened. It was, it was about as bad as it can get,” McCloskey said.
McCloskey believes that the only thing that stopped the crowd from approaching his home was his rifle.

Guy did what he needed too. He needs some serious weapons training though. He’s going to hurt someone in his own family. Wife is untrainable in my opinion. I’d take her firearm away.

Good question. The protesters needed to see a show of force early on, they might have just broken all the Windows and gone in it the guy had not shown the rifle.

Dunno about that. Hannity covered the story tonight at the conclusion a statement was read by the two that said that they were afraid for their lives, it’s not about race, the people in the crowd scaring them the most were white, they support BLM, and they hope that this incident doesn’t take away from the groups very important message.

how many folks think that if the ‘mob’ were white conservatives that had broken down the gate, trespassed, and threatened the homeowners like these blm mob did that St. Louis Circuit Attorney would be calling it a ‘peaceful protest’? She likely would have applauded the homeowners and called out the mob
I’m absolutely in favor of people protecting their lives and property. Make whatever critiques you like about their trigger discipline, but also recognize that the rioters have burned hundreds of buildings — but not that one.
They are either hard-core Pelosi Dems, or they are “saying all the right things” to avoid retribution. The sad part is that the report on Hannity said that they have already been doxed, and the guy spent last night boarding up his office in the city. I saw the woman’s bio posted on Twitter.
Yup. Absolute fools. The more I see of these demonstrations, the more I wonder how well they would be doing if they were entirely dependent on actual black lives showing up for them.
