The Louisville Courier Journal has a very odd article in that there is no comment on the status of the shooter(s).

I heard on a live stream a guy there say it was some homeless guy who lived at the park, the protestors run him out and he came back with a gun.
Are those the sounds of ‘black lives mattering?
Black lives won’t matter until they begin to take responsibility for their lives. As it is, every black life lost is a decrease in criminal complaint calls.
The prevailing story I’m hearing (source: Louisville is my hometown, watched the local news while they were on FB live chatting with people in the square after the shooting) is that the shooter was a homeless guy that was causing trouble and had been kicked out of the camp numerous times, came back with a gun and started shooting. (should also note Louisville Courier-Journal is our local newspaper, Gannett owned and widely considered absolute garbage)
The mayor said he was “deeply saddened...”. What the hell does that even mean? What sane person can respond in that way at this point?
Yeah, I was born in Louavul. (Correct pronunciation, btw) and “blacks” and “shooting” are frequently used in the same sentence. Nothing to see here.
Heard that as well on WDRB (local Fox affiliate) live FB feed. Also saw someone post on Twitter that it was a white supremacist (there was supposed to be a group called American Freedom Fighters doing a counter protest to the Black Lives Matter group that has set up shop in this square for the last week, got called off at last second) This shooting was a block from my husband’s work. To say we’re stressed is a minor understatement.
Guess the party! (oh and it’s his last term) Dude is a flaming idiot. First weekend of protests when we had the destruction/looting? Cops nowhere to be seen. We had a curfew/National Guard for a week-ish? Did no good. They stood back and watched hundreds of protesters march through the city every night. One incident in West Louisville (stories varys, cops/NG say they didn’t shoot first/other party said they DID shoot first) a black businessman was caught in the crossfire and killed. Cops/NG did NOT have on bodycams that night. The police chief that was set to retire at the end of June got fired the next day. That on top of the Breonna Taylor investigation has set the city on edge. Tonight is just the icing on the shitshow.

Yep, David McAtee. I saw the same video, but that doesn’t matter to most of the BLM protesters. Just like the ppl that keep saying ‘Breonna Taylor was asleep and got murdered’ No. Didn’t happen that way. Do I hate what happened to her? Of course I do. But THAT case is being investigated by the FBI and Commonwealth Attorney’s office. Doesn’t matter to the bad actors in the BLM protests. They want the cops involved in the Breonna Taylor case arrested, like, yesterday. Now they’re saying this shooting earlier tonight in the square was ‘because they still haven’t arrested those cops that murdered Breonna Taylor! We wouldn’t be here protesting if that didn’t happen!’ and it’s just like -facepalm- seriously?

So, he lives in the park, gets kicked out of the park, returns to the park with a gun. Where did he get the gun? Not from his home, that was in the park. Did he just go buy a gun from some hoodlum? With what money?
This makes no sense to me.
Consider that the pic of him in #16 (lower left) is a police mug shot, my guess is he knows people who would give him an illegal gun.
Oh yes, you are right. He’s a young guy, I thought he was an old guy. Now he’s a guy that’s going away for a long time I hope.
This is the rat army they are releasing from the jails. Can anyone think otherwise that the rat politicians are deliberately fanning the flames of anarchy and civil war
