There are a lot of men and women out there that gave up their bodies, minds, and even lives representing that flag/country that he disrespected for his inability to work in a manner to weed out the problems calling it wishing respect while accomplishing nothing to correct the problems. And while he demands respect, he tarnishes the lives of millions of people that have died and suffered to give him the right to have an opinion.
And at this time, there still has not been any effort to establish something to identify and correct the problems that are out there. Just point fingers at individual situations and make it worse. Nothing has been accomplished except the lowering of our standards as a country rather than raising it if done right. When did the food chain get so low?

U R correct Bookshelf. When I lived and worked in the Seattle area for 15 years, I used to go to the old Seattle Supersonics games all the time. My main boss was an attorney and he had seasons tickets to the Sonics games. He used to give them to me a lot during the season when he could not attend or couldn’t let a client use them. I would probably get 20-25 of the 41 home games every year. I can GUARANTEE you that 80 to 90% of the attendance was “whites” with Asian and blacks taking the remainder. And, Seattle does have a large black and Asian communities. If whites had not been in old Key Arena (I think Amazon just bought the arena and has renamed it some crappy name like Save the Amazon Rain Forrest Arena or Global Warming Arena or some other type stupid idiot name like that), the place would have been danged near empty. There is NO WAY that a blacks attendance would have filled that joint up. The Sonics had really great teams back in those days. Every game you watch on TV is massively whites in the stands. Maybe 60-75 percent I would say. Most “big cities” are majority blacks, but not high income blacks, whites or anything else. Those with $$$$ live outside the inner city in the ‘burbs in the big and nice houses, not in the inner city slums!!!
That’s really the whole point isn’t it? People forget how intensely difficult it is to compete in professional sports. With Colin Kaepernick out for this length of time even if there was nothing against him he still wouldn’t be able to make it IMHO.
Thats why he was cut. He sucked.
The fact that he is also black is moot.
