After 9/11, bush could have done ANYTHING. He could have taken over Pakistan’s government and stationed 500,000 troops there. He could (should) have seized all their nukes. Instead he trusted the Godfather of the Taliban to help defeat the Taliban.

Right. Bush had a historical opportunity, one that comes maybe only once in a thousand years. He could have crushed radical Islam into dust. Just as FDR crushed Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany into dust.
But instead Bush told us - and the world - that “Islam is peace.”
So I’ve got to ask myself. Had Al Gore been elected in 2000, could he have done any worse? I don’t think so. It least Gore would not have invaded Iraq while the Afghanistan war was still raging.
I’d better stop now. My blood pressure is spiking again.
