A group that has camped outside the Durham, NC Police Department for more than a week has now blocked the street outside the building.
On Thursday, a protester told WRAL News the group used wooden pallets to block the headquarters building at 602 E. Main St. in downtown Durham around 3 a.m.
The Durham Police Department said they will monitor traffic in the area for the protesters' safety, and state transportation workers were at the scene expanding the road closures to manage traffic.

Huh? If they're playing in the road they are liable to be run over. That should be the only safety message. I guess they're doing such a good job protecting law-abiding citizens' safety, they can now concentrate on the rioters.

In our town they blocked roads , said they were going to burn the city down to the ground and replace it with all black businesses etc and the police chief gave them bottles of water as it was a hot day . Meanwhile counter protestors were told to move on or get arrested.
The police are useless.
