AP) – North Carolina’s governor has ordered people across the state to wear masks or other face coverings in public to fight the spread of COVID-19.
Gov. Roy Cooper issued an executive order Wednesday that people must wear face coverings in public when it’s not possible to maintain physical distance.
The order also mandates masks or other face coverings for employees of businesses including retailers and restaurants, as well as state employees in the executive branch.
Violations of Cooper’s executive orders are punishable by misdemeanor.

Does this apply indoors only? Or outdoors as well? Outdoors makes no sense as all the data points to very poor transmission outside.

I will not wear a mask.
How so? I live in NC. I wear hearing aids and still don’t hear well. Masks make it impossible for me to understand anything. It’s very frustrating. I’m in tears just thinking about another 3 weeks or longer of this hoax.
The mandate is so ambiguous that it’s not applicable. All you have to do is step 6 feet away from anyone and you’re in compliance.
From that wording, my guess is BOTH indoors and outdoors...
Downtown Columbia requires masks for 60 odd days.
I am not going downtown. As much I love acupuncture and how it helps me, I will have to cancel for a while.
The pills from the neurologist for my headaches help a lot now.
On Nextdoor.com, a great many are Karens and cheering. There are a few dissenters.
I will just stay home and go to my workshop/garage area on another piece of private property close by, just like always. I can order groceries. Fuel is the only thing I have to really be concerned about regarding public type areas. Life as usual for the most part.
