Indeed. We have a ways to go and things can change, but you are correct. Clicking our heels and chanting “fake news” will not alter reality. Even reliably conservative sources are publishing polls that have Trump behind by wide margins. Time to start putting up some adds that show the recent chaos and lawlessness and link that to the Dems. Yes, we are four months from the election. But at some point polls will start to matter. And we are not where we should be right now.

Political stock is like the stock market. It goes from over sold to overbought. If you look at the past you will see that when a politician of one party leads by such a wide margin it usually tightens up and he may very well win it but it will up being a close result. There is no indication that it will be different this time, but this is actually not that bad of a position for Trump to be in.
