Last night Don Lemon tried to portray this "noose" as being the ONLY one in the garage despite we had already learned they are all over the place.
the CNN video of "The Noose". Notice anything about it on that video? CNN HAS DONE IT AGAIN...they have ENLARGED "the noose" to make it appear more menacing than it really was as reflected in the original images and video posted here yesterday!

I don’t think it is a noose. Why would you have a loop that would cinch down on your hand while you pull it? The loop is fixed, like a bowline. If it was a noose and people were pulling it, all the nooses would be different sizes.
He is a terrible racer too. His best race put him at 28th place.

The sport was desperate already from years of declining revenue but the backlash on this is pointing to a nail in the dead cat. They had already lost many top tier sponsors and many of the remaining lower tier ones will fade away as to avoid making a statement by walking away immediately.

That's exactly what it is.
I have personal knowledge of them, I have sttod within inches of them...but have never looked at it and said to myself that it was a "noose", in the sense of a hangman noose.
I have been very close to these garages on many occasions, back when I was involved with an organization that rewarded it's employees with small perqs, such as paid, guided, closeup tours to some of the garages, motorhome tours, hospitality tents, etc.
I recall (this dates back to 2002, so maybe the recall is not perfect) that some of the ropes had wooden, hollow dowel type handles on them, but still was fastened with a loop.
Being excited about seeing the inner workings of the actual goings-on aspect of these garages is not conducive to fostering a minute inspection of the freaking door handle or pull-down mechanism...although I did think to myself that it was kind of a chintzy setup for a NASCAR area.
The doors...at least then, were not up to the same standard that my tractor shed is...much less my shop roll-up doors.
This whole thing is the biggest bunch of doo-doo I've seen in a while.
Mr Bubba needs to take a step back and dial his crap back a little.
As far as I'm concerned, everything he does from this day forward will be under a microscope and he has no one to blame but himself.
But then, I said good bye to NASCAR back when they started manipulating the finishes to the advantage of the photogenic and charismatic favored ones.
Haven't watch a race in nearly 10 years, I guess...and at one time I was at every Talladega race.
Restrictor plate has slowly killed the sport. Early on it made it more exciting by bunching up all the drivers where no one had an advantage. Slowly, people have become bored with it, since every race is exactly the same and there is no need to watch anything but the final laps.
Good riddance.
