That’s kinda like how they got rid of the awful screw worm which breed only one time. The scientists released sterile male screw worm flies. I’m old enough to have seen screw worms at work. Not a pretty sight.

I love it when science plays around, experimenting with nature. Anyone remember when hydrilla really got hold of our waterways? Or how about African Killer Bees? Another good one! Oh, almost forgot my favorite. Nutria from South America. Yes. It really became THE fur of choice. Such a great smell and all.

(As a retired Texas public school teacher, I highly recommend private school.)

Personally, I don’t mind getting rid of mosquitoes, and Grizzly’s for that matter (due to their attitude).

Most of that list is safe. What is your point?

Mosquito larvae are very important in aquatic ecology. Many other insects and small fish feed on them and the loss of that food source would cause their numbers to decline as well. Anything that feeds on them, such as game fish, raptorial birds, etc. would in turn suffer tooI have several families of lizards around my house that will be extremely disappointed if there aren't mosquitoes around.

“In a few generations (30 days?) there will be a huge increase in homosexual mosquitoes?”
Yes, and if you get bit by one you will start to play for the other team as well.
