Engel is dangerous. Maloney is insane. She’s the one I want out the most. Even if “progressives” win their seats, they will not have the seniority that Engle and Maloney have, and they might not get security clearances despite being appointed to key intelligence committees. Jacobs was specifically endorsed by Trump ad the wide margin of victory bodes well for GOP turn-out and enthusiasm in this district.
But wait--the guy who defeated Engel in the primary is an aggressive black activist who has already promised to "make trouble" in the House. Like the House didn't have enough low class morons denigrating the dignity of this chamber of our government.
Plenty of room for the Democrats to harvest the necessary ballots.

The funny thing is that he was talking to the Bronx Borough President, whose father (a councilman) was running in a Democrat primary in the Bronx today.
She was primaried. She won handily. However, there is a Republican-Conservative candidate and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, the “moderate” who challenged Occasional Cortex in the primary is still on the Independence Party and Serve America Pasty lines, and she got Sandy off the Working Families Party line.
So, the GOP held the seat?
