In addition to being a talented cook, Nancy Green had a cheerful and appealing personality. Born into slavery, she became prosperous as the original model and spokesman for Aunt Jemima and was a generous donor to charity. In a broad sense, she was the real Aunt Jemima.
Aldi sells their own brand of steel cut oats for a better price and theyre just as good.
