I am glad the family is speaking out so ridiculous.

I just checked . . .no Aunt Jemima in the cupboard. But I won’t be buying Quaker Oats again after I finish the steel oats. I really soured on the company when they dropped the coffee cake that my mother and I absolutely loved.

Her black life no longer matters.
Alas.
We need to see a NICE black face in place of the ugly mobs.

How do you think I feel as a black man sitting here telling you about my family history theyre trying to erase? Well, shut up buddy.
Your betters have decided that your family history is all about racist exploitation of a racial stereotype.
Dont get in the way of the agenda or they will hurt you.

...All of this canceling of iconic marketing symbols is to ease liberal white guilt, as Mr. Evans points out...
************************************************
No it wasnt! It was done to avoid or at least minimize the company becoming a TARGET of blacks searching for racism.
PS, Im glad you failed in your stupid three billion dollar lawsuit, Mr. Evans, Good riddance to Aunt Jemima.

No. There was no check being cut. Evans filed a suit asking for money for Quaker having used her likeness. But I imagine any royalty or fee was paid out or the issue settled long ago.

So you can’t be proactive. You have to wait until the BLM goons find you and try to destroy you first. Got it.

Can we just replace Aunt Jemima with Aunt Bea from Mayberry since having a kind black woman on the bottle upsets them so much?
To: SeekAndFind
I would look for an opportunity to restart the product, brand name and all, from the ground up, under a company that is not afraid of current cultural trends. If Quaker Oats gives up the name, then the rightful inventor ought to be able to take it up again. Don’t be a door mat for these weirdos.

I think Aunt Bea was a communist so even Antifa might agred with that.

They’re tossing her out like an old used rag just to virtue signal to a group of whiners, and destroyers of history, who will just find something else to whine about.

What in the world is racist about Aunt Jemima? To me, her image glows with friendliness and hospitality. Who couldn't enjoy that?
