Trump, RNC raise $74 million in May

President Trump and the Republican National Committee (RNC) combined to raise about $74 million in May, a record haul for the month but one that fell behind the total garnered by former Vice President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) last month.

The May figures were about $12 million more than the money raked in in April and bring the Trump and RNC’s total haul for the cycle to date to over $817 million. The average donation for May amounted to $46, and the two bodies have $265 million cash on hand combined.

Biden and the DNC raised nearly $81 million dollars in May, marking their single best month of fundraising for the 2020 cycle. However, they are still believed to face a yawning cash-on-hand deficit - Biden and the DNC did not not announce a cash-on-hand total for May but at the end of April said they had approximately $100 million in cash reserves.

“After yet another massive fundraising haul, it remains clear that the enthusiasm behind President Trump’s re-election campaign goes unmatched. While Sleepy Joe Biden lobs ineffective partisan attacks from the shadows of his basement, President Trump is leading The Great American Comeback and he is drawing support from every corner of this country,” said Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale.

Biden had a slight bump because he locked down the nomination and all the far lefties that were holding back dumped money on him. Unfortunately, it’s probably down hill from here because he has to compete for the lefty money with all the BLM causes that are the flavor of the week.

The reason is, their money is not comprised of millions upon millions of Americans donating. The dems money is mostly from large donors. Wealthy libs.

I generally don’t give to campaigns so early in the season, but it seems that things keep happening to piss me off enough to make me send a few pence Trump’s way. I sent some for the ridiculous impeachment, for the Dem governors’ lockdown hamstringing of the economy, and now the current anti-American racist violence and anti-free speech campaign. I don’t know what will happen to this country if the Dems win this fall.

I notice that and have been “hit” many times with them. Does anyone know if the Biden campaign would be hit by a higher advertising charge if I let the commercial run to the end instead of stopping it at the end of the required 5 seconds? If so, I’d let the commercials run to the end to do my part of “nickel and dime‘ing” them to death.
