Tucker Carlson Is Most-Watched Host In Cable News For Last Week

With an average total audience of four million viewers, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson finished the week of June 8 through June 14 as the most-watched host in all of cable news, despite the decision by some advertisers to abandon his program over comments Carlson made about the Black Lives Matter movement.

Tucker Carlson Tonight finished ahead of FNC’s usual first-place finisher, Hannity, which ended the week in second place with 3.9 million viewers, followed by The Ingraham Angle (3.5 million total viewers) according to ratings data compiled by Nielsen.

Last week, Carlson drew criticism for remarks he made about Black Lives Matter, saying “this may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you. And at this rate, they will.”

I am not even going to bother re litigating the Hannity/Ainsley relationship after already debating that matter extensively on a very long thread which was actually about Hannity and Ainsley unlike this thread which is about Tucker.
Suffice to say that there is nothing tacky about it . Perfectly normal and above board.

Your whole statement articulates what we think everytime Hannity is on. Maybe if he drops below Tucker and Laura, he will gain some humility and open his eyes to what we all see and try to improve his game. Its like he thinks his audience is completely uninformed and stupid, and he sprinkles in a generous dose of narcisism. Heart in the right place. Wish he would up his game, he has good guests and is not afraid to take on the machine.

I never missed his show while he was exposing the DS through his guests, Solomon and Carter. It was always informative to hear 2/3 of what they had to say.

Hannitus is not terribly bright. I notice that often a guest will say something (when they get a chance), and it’s something that warrants a weighty response from Sean, and he barely acknowledges what they’ve said. He doesn’t really seem to listen to the responses of the guests. He is NOT a quick thinker. He is merely a dog-with-a-bone ranter.

This is from my own hazy memory, but Hannity was a FReeper at one point. He took flak from other members for exactly the same issues that people complain about now. He took his butthurt to the airwaves, referring to us as “freeps”.

You need thick skin when you’re in a public position like his. He didn’t help himself at all with his bitchiness.
