And some healthcare professionals believe wearing these masks is unhealthy. You like them, wear them, but a cloth cotton, polyester, or other fabric does not stop you from passing or getting the COVID-19 virus.
They are nothing more than a new form of virtue signaling.

Here in NJ they aren’t “virtue signaling” - they are required to enter a business by law. You can definitely prevent your snot from getting on others with them; with the good ones (real N95s), you’re as protected as the healthcare workers - and you can tell by how much more difficult it is to breathe with them on (because they actually are filtering).
We’ve had enough dead people here in NJ to know this is real, and we also have a lot of people at risk: older people, sick people, fat people, and people who are too stupid to take common-sense precautions.
