It’s up to the parents. If they don’t do it nobody will.
BTW - I first found out about the brainwashing because I read my kids textbooks. Second grade, “the pilgrims came to America and spread disease”.
I spent summers going to history sites, Plymouth Rock, local forts etc. There were also decently sourced and written books about these sites which we read before going.
Between the lying school and his parents, a kid will believe the parent.

- It’s not “Trump speaks about (whatever).” It’s “Trump issues a divisive statement about (whatever)”. -

Exactly. By examining the adjectives and adverbs in news articles you can easily tell the objective of the author / editor.

"Thank you, demonicRAT run school system."

Actually it is everyone's fault.

We've known for years that public schools were indoctrinating kids.

We just hoped our kids would get through it, and get a good job.

We busied ourselves with trivial things like sports and Hollywood.

We stayed silent.

It got worse.

We weren't vigilant.

We didn't listen to the warnings of past leaders, such as Ronald Reagan, who said that freedom is only one generation away from being extinct. We don't pass it on to our kids. It has to be taught to them.

We didn't listen.

But there is some hope.

Most of the New Media on Youtube are young, and managed to learn about the value of our country on their own.

They have vowed to teach their children about freedom, and what a gift this country is to everyone.

They are also making great efforts to wake people up to the fact that we are about to surrender our nation to radicals, who want to tear it down, and install a tyranny.

It is also a plus that people are getting a good look at just what a nightmare the left plans to inflict on us, if they are ever given power again.
(See: any Democrat run area for reference.)

We have our work cut out for us.

It is going to require tremendous effort to repair all the damage that has been done, but it is worth it.

It starts with re-electing President Trump- the greatest President since the Founders.

True. I've been encouraging FReepers to homeschool their kids or grandkids for going on 22 years now. To much excuse-making and no avail.

But I will soldier on.

Home school your kids or grandkids, FReepers! It's the only antidote to the poison they're being spoon fed.

Yes. It’s mass brainwashing on a national level. Everything that built this country is bad, and everything that has failed in every other country that’s ever tried it is good.

America had a couple things that held it together. One was self-supporting immigrants that assimilated into a common culture; two was the losing side accepting the results of our elections. When you lose those two things the country cannot survive.

I’ve been to 49 states and 35 foreign countries.
Perhaps if some of these stoopids visited some place other than their parents basement they’d have a more clear idea of real life.
Lot of fine places in the world. The U.S.A. is by far and away the best.

https://www.zinnedproject.org/

The Zinn Education Project promotes and supports the teaching of people’s history in middle and high school classrooms across the country. Based on the lens of history highlighted in Howard Zinn’s best-selling book A People’s History of the United States, the website offers free, downloadable lessons and articles organized by theme, time period, and reading level.

The Zinn Education Project promotes and supports the teaching of people’s history in classrooms across the country. For more than ten years, the Zinn Education Project has introduced students to a more accurate, complex, and engaging understanding of history than is found in traditional textbooks and curricula. With more than 90,000 people registered, and nearly 10,000 new registrants every year, the Zinn Education Project has become a leading resource for teachers and teacher educators.

The empowering potential of studying history is often lost in a textbook-driven trivial pursuit of names and dates. We believe that through taking a more engaging and more honest look at the past, we can help equip students — and all of us — with the analytical tools to make sense of and improve the world today. For a more complete description of our approach, read why teach people’s history.

Our website offers free, downloadable lessons and articles organized by theme, time period, and grade level. Based on the approach to history highlighted in Howard Zinn’s best-selling book A People’s History of the United States, our teaching materials emphasize the role of working people, women, people of color, and organized social movements in shaping history.

Our daily This Day in History posts highlight stories ignored in most textbooks and are shared on social media where we have more than 300,000 followers.

We also produce a regular If We Knew Our History column that features articles by teachers, journalists, and scholars that expose the myths told in corporate curricula and offer alternatives ideas for teaching outside the textbook.

We offer professional development workshops in collaboration with school districts, teacher unions, and at teacher conferences.

We have also launched several campaigns including Teach Reconstruction and Abolish Columbus Day.

The Zinn Education Project is coordinated by two non-profit organizations, Rethinking Schools and Teaching for Change, that have spent decades developing and providing social justice resources for teachers.

Sounds like if they’ve participated in the that program they still haven’t read his books. Wouldn’t want to get “ lost in a textbook-driven trivial pursuit”..

"Who would have thought higher education would be the death of the country?"

I have since the 80's. I saw it coming with the Hippie educators in our colleges. As the Professors kept complaining and teaching America has an evil past, it was a foregone conclusion on my part.

It is also a shame because so called HIGHER education has not produced a higher educated person we came out of high school MORE educated than these college grads!! The so called HIGHER education is a total waste of money these kids need to get into trade schools or internships and work their way up!!

Yes, it astounds me that so many college freshmen have to take remedial math and/or basic English 101 refresher. They are obviously not ready for college.

Well said, especially with their stupid majors like Gender Basket Weaving in the Sudan. These idiotic liberal majors are a waste of the kid's time and their parents money and their resumes go to the bottom of the Human Resources basket.

Granted, many college students get loans, which nowadays they want those loans to be forgiven. What I don't understand is the parents who pay so much for such worthless degrees. Will they never learn as their degreed kids move back home?

And then there is the Marxist indoctrination. Too bad the Department of Education (phooey) doesn't have some legal recourse to clean up our colleges/universities. Pres. Trump has threatened to cut off federal funds, but I believe it just too complex for that fix.

The ONLY way to fix this is get these kids the hell out of college, let them work for companies for a couple of years as an intern on the job training the only damn thing kids would need a degree for is Law and medical!! Kids can even learn Wall Street on the job!! It is quite obvious that a degree in journalism isn’t worth the paper it is written on, NONE of these journalists do investigative reporting, they just spew the daily talking points!! I have read articles from these so called journalists a 2nd grader could have written better!! Companies need to open their doors to internships they get cheap labor AND the kids don’t have the national debt just for a SO CALLED higher education!!

I sure am not proud of what America is now.

I’m proud of what it used to be. But our modern American culture is garbage, and it’s poisoning the rest of the world.

BLM is an American export, and it’s doing even more damage in Britain than it is here.

And yet well-meaning conservatives like Tucker still want the kids put back in those schools, because no learning due to wu flu or something.

I completely agree with your position. Coming from a "dysfunctional home" , I started working at various jobs when 16 (1966). I worked my rear off to get my first apartment, rather than sleeping in cars and garages. I learned work ethic and self-responsibility. I screwed up now and then as a teenager, but built on what I had learned from those menial jobs and then joined the US Navy.

The discipline, work ethic, comaraderie, and pride of defending our nation has been the foundation of my principles ever since. The round the clock flight deck operations were brutal, but it turned me from a boy to a man. I really wish we still had a draft. These spoiled Snowflakes need to learn some hard lessons.
