On June 1, 2020, President Donald Trump walked from the White House to pay his respects to St. John's Episcopal Church (https://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/wash/dc...) after somebody tried to burn down the church the previous night.

That was wonderful.

Thank You for posting.

I took a 5 hour motorcycle ride today around Southeastern Massachusetts today. I passed through both rural and some “depressed” urban areas.

At no point was I given even a frowning look. (I am an old lady riding an antique Harley). Most people waved and smiled.

Riding alone, I thought about this incident at the church and the reaction of the “bishopess”.

Were I a bishop and a historic church in my diocese had been vandalized, I would have been so honored if THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA expressed his support and solidarity, and topped it off by WALKING to my church, holding up a Bible, and letting the world know he cared.

I just can’t wrap my head around the way leftists “think”. It is so alien to me.

The bishopess in question is a left-wing ideologue, one of many who have taken over the Diocese of Washington and the Episcopal Church. Her true religion is Marxism, not Christianity. She loathes the Bible and everything it stands for. She is there to see that Christianity is undermined within the church itself. That’s why she acted the way she did. She is like Dracula before the Cross when it comes to people sincerely celebrating and revering the Holy Bible.

The are all kneeling in slaveowner scarves claiming they care, when they are the one who caused the situation.

I thought the visit was splendid. I cannot see any reason why it is at all controversial.

“like Dracula”

I am a big fan of Bram Stoker’s book, and you make a very good point.

Indeed. I am aware of the history of the Ashanti and their connection to slavery. The demoncraps who participated in that farce displayed to the world their profound ignorance.

The Democrats called Trump’s justified walk to protest a burned church a photo op, but they had no problem with that pointless, condescending photo op of them all wearing masks and kente cloth. They made fools of themselves.

Thank you so much. And it’s pretty noticeable that the military dude was out of place IN HIS UNIFORM. The President was surrounded by his team in suits.

I wrote the following recently. I'm considering leaving the Episcopal church and have this ready to give to my priest. I didn't discuss St. John's, but a more direct and personal experience. Sorry for the verbosity:

A few years ago I went on a trip to DC. I had just been confirmed and my spirit was full of hope (after years of despair.) My family and I attended a service at the National Cathedral on father's day. It's a beautiful church, astounding really. The service was lovely, the worship inspiring.

But then the sermon started. I've never heard anything so hateful directed towards my race, my gender, my culture and our veterans. I was told how awful men were, on father's day. I was told how vicious our soldiers were and how so many were white supremacists.

I was told how wonderful it was to wear a hijab to show solidarity, but no mention of reciprocity. I heard blatant partisan politics. I heard words of racial division and prejudice. I did not hear love. I did not hear God's spirit in any of it.

I looked around me. I wanted to see the expressions of those near me. I saw the same look of bafflement as I must have shown on my own face. I was not alone in thought on what was being said.

A man, a black man, was sitting next to me wearing a jacket with an armed forces patch on it. He was clearly very upset with what he was hearing as well. He looked like he was about to just get up and leave.

We were brothers right then, at least in our thoughts on this hate filled screed. Again, I was not alone in my perception on what was being said that day.

As we prepared to leave, I looked over at the Pastor and met her eyes ... and she smirked. She knew exactly what she was doing and the impact her hateful words made. I know this sounds extreme, but I saw evil there.

I was lost for a while after that experience. I don't blame the Church for that one person. But it was clear to me that day that racism and gender based prejudice affected all of us and in places we would never expect. I wish it didn't have to happen in a church.

When we are told to look inside ourselves and reflect, that must include ALL of us. Bigotry is a HUMAN affliction, not one that is relegated to just "evil white men" as that particular pastor seemed to believe.

We will never move forward as long as we ignore that. How do we get people to fully embrace the need for change, when they see hypocrisy and are treated with hate and negative judgement due to the color of their skin, their gender, their cultural, political, physical and mental aspects (by the very people who claim to be fighting for justice)?

Amen! What makes it so angering is that most of the media thinks the same way and displays leftists and their ideology 24/7. The same holds for the current Democrat party. The same also holds for most of Hollywood and the sports organizations. Every day we are inundated by the same BS.

I hate to sound weird, but I think it is demonic. I can’t think of any other explanation!

Marxist thought and its “soft socialism” propaganda has finally scored its’ greatest victory in the BLM/Antifa, Black extremists/white guilt coalition.

While traditional communist ideology doesn’t sell very well as is, when it is dressed up in liberal guilt/self-loathing and “blame America” mentality for every ill of the world, it sells like Hot Dogs at the Nathan’s Annual Hot Dog Easting Contest - tastes good, goes down easy, and makes you feel good.

The undereducated, over indoctrinated media swallows Marxist crap like it was Holy Water and Wafers. They were “trained” (aka indoctrinated) by Marxist/Leftist-Liberal communist dupes and it shows every day in their writings and talks.

Try analyzing the Wash. Post on a daily basis for Marxist ideology/soft-socialism terminology. All you have to do is to take a colored pencil and underline words of “bias” against Trump/conservatives, the White House, Republicans, veterans, religious believers in God, a whole family, hard-work advocates, accuracy in the media and education, those who have faith in America as a good nation, and those who do not play the “blame/self-loathing game”.

Your hand will go numb as will your mind when you see how much Marxist hatred is inserted into every section of the newspaper from the front page, editorial page, letters to the editor (WP senders are certifiable ignorant of history or just plain insane, or both), Editorial comments (often so contradictory your need a Dramamine to try and read them), Op-Ed columns, Marxist Metro section writers (several of whom fled from Communist countries but instead of condemning Marxism/propaganda, they actually promote it, obituaries, Sports (several very far left writers), and even in the Local Metro section/Style - Cultural/Entertainment section).

[My English teacher used to teach us to write in short sentences. I must of missed class that day re the single sentence rant I just wrote above, and LUV IT].

I won’t even get into the TV news situation (NEWS - Nothing Educational, Worthless Shit).

Leftists themselves explain how they think; all one has to do is poison one’s thinking with hatred, constantly.
