IndyCar fired the series' flagman Thursday after he posted on Facebook that he was dismayed with NASCAR's recent decision to ban Confederate flags from its events.
In a since-deleted Facebook post that was posted on Reddit, Brad Hockaday wrote, "Do these dips---- even understand what that flag stands for. I have lost all respect for NASCAR. I will no longer be supporting their sanction body."
He also criticized NASCAR's decision to end the requirement for team members to stand during the National Anthem, to allow for kneeling.

The Left hates free speech because they have no argument or answer for what they support. The Left is as Melvin Udall said without reason or accountability and will do whatever it takes to turn our country into the same.

NASCAR has been turning left for years.
All I have left now is F1 and IMSA; IndyCar is dead to me, along w/ TRASH-CAR.
The flagman shouldn’t have posted on Facebook. Instead he should have snuck in a Confederate flag, and used it as a starting flag. Sure, he would have been fired immediately and then escorted off the property.
But that would have been awesome.

Y’all better get with the cultural marxists or they’re going to cancel your job. This can happen to ANYBODY that dares speak out. So if you are in a corporate culture, you’d better keep your head low and your mouth shut. Because they’re coming for you now.

Friend of mine in Indy says everyone laughed when NASCAR announced they’d be running the Brickyard without fans in the stands, he said that’s the way they’ve been running the race for years
Bubba is quickly making enemies that he didn’t have to make.
Nobody likes a ‘new kid on the block’ who complains and demands to get his own way immediately. Whether he is right or not, it’s not advisable to overlook the pecking order already in place. Now people are losing their jobs just from expressing disagreement? This is going to bite him in the rear tires one day. Right now, he’s too busy enjoying all the attention and feeling of control.

Right you are. Companies are falling over each other to show how “woke” they are. And the process is accelerating. So even a somewhat supportive statement about BLM might not be good enough anymore.
“Keep your head low and your mouth shut”. Oh, yes.
Side story: A relative of mine works in state government. It’s a very liberal state. He’s always posting on Facebook about guns and hunting. He’s a good guy. But his posts are going to do him in. I’ve warned him about this numerous times. It goes in one ear, and out the other.
I hear now that NASCAR is handing out white flags and knee pads at all their events.
I’ve been BDS’ing fan sports since the kneeling. Life is short - find other entertainment or productive things to do while making them pay the price for your lost $ and eyeballs.
No more effin NASCAR in this house!
