This couple was coerced into making the statement they didn’t think the attack was racially motivated. Of course it was, Myrtle Beach has turned into a Gangsta Haven and the police chief’s response to all of this? “Well, they aren’t from here.” If you want to visit the beaches of SC, avoid Myrtle Beach at all costs.
There are plenty of good beaches along the SC coast. The only advantage Myrtle Beach has is a bigger selection of accommodations and things to do. If you can live without t-shirt stores, junky gift shops, putt-putt golf courses, fairground style rides and the like, go to Pawley’s Island, Isle of Palms, Seabrook, Kiawah, or Hilton Head instead.
