I think that Fitton will prevail.

As far as I know, BLM is a private group. For the City of Washington to devote the public time and resources to publicly proclaim the virtues of a private organization is a misuse of public funds. If BLM is a legitimate group, why not Easter Seals, or Planned Parenthood? And why not Judicial Watch? I think Fitton prevails under the equal protection clause and that the City, as much as it will rankle them, would restore the street to its original, pre-BLM condition rather than ‘advertise’ for Judicial Watch.

Just my 2 cents worth.
