For the golf world, the Charles Schwab Challenge marks the first time TOUR pros have gathered en masse since March 12, the first round of THE PLAYERS Championship. After the rest of the TOUR’s signature event was canceled as the coronavirus pandemic took hold, the 2019-20 season also was suspended … until this week.
Excited to get back into action, many players arrived at Colonial on Monday to go through the on-site protocols and get in some practice time.

I hope that they just play golf. It would be nice to have one non-political event on TV. I do not care about any professional sports figures opinions on the news of the day.

The leftist’s long march through the institutions is reaching ludicrous speed.
Even golf is destroyed. The left pretty much has destroyed everything in my lifetime that I enjoyed and felt comfort in. This is all by design and is never going to end unless we destroy the left. Our side has no energy to do so.

We didn’t even stop golf DURING our lockdown in Virginia.
The only excuse for the pros to stop the tour was their loss of revenue because they could not have spectators.
They could easily have run tournaments with nothing but cameras.
This would have been even less problematic than car racing, and I don’t understand why car racing was stopped either, every participant is separated by the requisite 6 feet. But they would have had to deal with pit crews

That list makes it clear that the left does not want anyone to have anything that involves loving, or even caring, personal relationships. Very sad. Video games online with strangers, street gangs and political alliances have are probably ok.
I only watch on DVR so I will be sure to skip the early starts. They will probably play it over and over, sadly.
They should have completed The Players without fans. Everyone was already there. Round one was finished.
They actually stopped a tournament? Given that nobody really knew what day it was really important to start isolating, that seems really absurd.
