you might want to redo those numbers a little and add Bernie’s numbers to Bidens because in the fall Bernie will not be on the ticket. Sure it’s possible someone will write him in but still.
It also bothers me that in GA the senate R got 9K more votes than POTUS. Which means 9K voted for the R senator and didn’t vote for POTUS.

There is no primary election, just the general in November.

News is reporting that there was a high turnout for this election. Is this true? And if so, why?

No primaries for Special elections

(CNN) – A proposal to amend Georgia election law to force party primary contests before special elections will not take effect this year, meaning a newly appointed U.S. senator won’t have to defend her seat from early challenges by fellow Republicans.

The House Governmental Affairs Committee voted 9-6 on Tuesday to approve a newer version of House Bill 757, delaying the implementation of a proposed change to the state’s election process until 2021. The bill is expected to move to a full House vote soon.

The delay likely comes as a relief to U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, who will defend her seat in an open election on Nov. 3. Loeffler, a wealthy businesswoman and longtime conservative donor, was appointed in December by Republican Governor Brian Kemp after three-term GOP Senator Johnny Isakson announced his retirement last year.

Since the measure will not impact this election cycle, all Democratic and Republican candidates will appear on the same ballot in November, creating what some refer to as a free-for-all election.

I don't know it was a primary and on the R side a lot of people with no challengers like POTUS didn't have a challenger and neither did the R senator.

Maybe the R Dem primary brought out people. There were a lot of people in the field?
idk

Media is mostly always full of crap I'd have to see the numbers.

well just looking at early numbers, so far in Georgia not sure it was higher than 2016. I'm looking exclusively at the DEM and REP Presidential Primary numbers.

2016

DEMS:

Hillary Clinton 545,674

Bernie Sanders 215,797

REPUBLICANS:

Donald Trump 502,994

Ted Cruz 305,847

Marco Rubio 316,836

That's a lot of votes and so far tonight 2020 without 100% reporting it's

Joe Biden 523,717

Bernie Sanders 65,882

and

President Trump (uncontested) 663,917

Trump Spanked Biden in West Virginia & Georgia when the Fake News polls say that Trump is at his lowest point.

In a week or two the “Trump MAGA Rallies” will begin again in full force!!! When that happens look for Trump to set out and destroy the entire Democrat Party, politically!!!

Go Trump, Go,Trump Rallies, Go USA, Go GOP!!!!

Apparently it used to be more of predictably red district though. Do to demographic changes, like Virgina and Colorado it appears to be going dependable blue.

Also take note...in the last two weeks of 2020 POTUS Primary Elections, Trump has trounced Biden in Georgia, West Virginia, Montana, Pennsylvania, Indiana, & South Dakota,

Trump also has beaten Biden in the primaries held in Florida, Texas, California, Ohio, South Carolina and on & on!!!

Democrat “FAKE NEWS”...take heed. The Truth is not often wonderful, but, the Truth is still always the Truth.....Go, Trumpie...Crank up the rallies...Bro!!!

So this means in November there will be two Pubs and one Dem candidate on the ballot, is that correct?

Unless Loeffler or Collins drops out before then, it’s a guaranteed win for the Dems.
