Just Like That, Gun Control Support and COVID-19 Died This Week
American Thinker ^ | June 7, 2020 | Clarice Feldman

After watching hundreds (including Michigan Governor Whitmer and other political figures who placed the rest of us in lockdowns) marching, screaming shouting -- without social distancing and often without masks -- it’s going to be hard to persuade us that even normal social contact will infect us and those around us with COVID-19. After watching the police hamstrung by these same politicians as their cities were looted and burned and they and civilians were severely injured and killed, gun sales are soaring. Without law and order it’s each man for himself. With our biggest cities boarded up and devastated, flight out to red states, where people understand that without respect for law life is too brutal to endure, will snowball.

—no—”gun control” did not die this week.

They will be back stronger than ever, yapping about the dangers, etc.,

As of the morning , for example , the Las Vegas (Clark County) commissioners are calling for removal of state preemption of firearms laws so they can exercise more “control”, blah, blah, blah,—

Yesterday I left the white privileged western suburbs and drove around the outskirts of occupied Minneapolistan, ( I did not want to drive though the center of occupied territory) on my way to eastern St. Paul.

I noticed a few things.

WalMart was packed
Target was packed
Grocery stores...full
Menards....Full.
Liquor stores...full

I could smell the burning remains of Minneapolistan which had been filled with thousands of “peaceful protesters”.

But I could not get a haircut, go in to eat a meal or go to church. That would be just too dangerous.

Oh, and Hobby Lobby was also EMPTY. Far too dangerous for a dozen customers to be in a store that covers about an acre and a half.

Yup! New York just introduced a bill that would require you to submit to a mental health exam by a dr and that dr would have to sign off on a form I order for you to purchase any firearm, rifle, shotgun etc.

The really hard part is there is a personal liability clause in the bill that means the dr could be held responsible if they sign off and you later use the weapon in a crime.

Who do you think is going to sign off on that form. 0.0001 percent of drs!

They will never stop!

Made me chuckle when Greg Gutfeld said he is in the process of buying a firearm. The next host to speak on The Five, who happened to be a woman told him, “Welcome to the club”

I see scenes in our cities and they look like a Bizzarro land from the Superman comics. Please tell me less than 16% of the country is “all in” for being lawless.

The problem is 90+ percent of MSM is for it so they make it seem like those of us who are disgusted to see this wreckage are the outliers.

All the new Virginia gun laws go into effect July 1st rain, shine or however the public currently feels about guns. It’s basically registration as far as I can tell. Any gun purchase after July 1st will have to have a background check, and it becomes mandatory to report lost or stolen guns. To my understanding they will then know who is supposed to currently own that gun by the serial number if it was purchased after July 1st.

The most we can hope for is a backlash in the next election and the laws get repealed. I have my doubts that will happen, there are many news cycles between now and then, and many voters will have long forgotten about it in all probability.

Gun control will be back. That is why Fauci came out and said schools need to reopen. The RATs want to kill more of our kids to ramp up the gun control.

RATs don’t care who dies to get what they want.

Still going to be tough putting that pony back in the barn....

People arrive every day on the ground, carrying their personal protection packed away or on their person. Native caution plus much recent history makes that almost compulsory.

When seconds count, police could be minutes away, and under some kind of binding restrictions.
