Waters is basically saying that blacks are above being criticized. Any criticism of any kind is racism.

That kind of elitism is going to be their downfall.

Justin Caruso. Daily Caller, 6/25/18

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters made news this weekend for endorsing the harassment and intimidation of President Trump’s cabinet members in an angry rant.

This isn’t the first time Waters has spoken positively of political violence. In March, she told HuffPost that the horribly violent Los Angeles riots in 1992 were a “defining moment in the way that black people resisted.”

THE TIMES’ word of choice for one of the most destructive weeks in L.A.’s history — from April 29 to May 4, 1992, when more than 50 people died, thousands were injured and hundreds of millions of dollars in property was destroyed — is “riot.”

The Times has used “riot” for the Rodney G. King verdict furor well over 1,000 times since then. Webster’s defines “riot” as “a raucous or violent disturbance of the public peace by three or more persons assembled for a common private purpose.”

By comparison, the politically neutral words “disturbance” and “unrest” have been used as the primary name about 60 times combined.

The terms “rebellion” and “uprising” were favored by those who saw a purposeful political message in the tumult, but The Times has used them rarely (often in direct quotes or letters to the editor). “If you call it a riot,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Los Angeles) said at the time, “it sounds like it was just a bunch of crazy people who went out and did bad things for no reason. I maintain it was somewhat understandable, if not acceptable. So I call it a rebellion.”

Rioters is offensive? I know what we can call them... 100% off sale customers. Is that better? 😀

Is Maxine trying to compete with A O-C as the dumbest congressperson? I think so...

The rioters are mostly white.

The looters are roughly the mix you stated.

The looting begins after the mostly white anarchists start the violence.

This was at the beginning.

Now, in L.A. at least, it seems to be a free for all for any loser to go out and loot whether or not there is a protest and/or rioting present.

I’m thinking N.Y. is probably experiencing this as well.

The losers are out stealing whatever they can get their hands on.

She has a long history of renaming “riots.”

She calls the Los Angeles riots after the Rodney King verdict an “uprising” to this day.

Orwellian piece of trash.
