William Barr can go screw himself. If our hopes are to rely on this idiot, we might as well surrender.

I agree. Between barr and our representation in congress, these so called conservatives, we've lost any hope of a peaceful resolution. If we continue to just sit and take it, they will be loading us onto trains in no time.

Isnt that special. The ACLU has been conspicuous by their silence during the pandemic. Not even a generic press release reminding our elected officials to be mindful of protecting people’s CIVIL LIBERTIES. Their silence spoke volumes.

A good point...I really don’t remember ACLU complaining about any “health order”...

They’ve and their twin the NYCLU
been anti-liberty for years

7 years ago my employer forced me to train a
younger colleague to do my job with a pay cut

ACLU said In an atwill employment job they
could do what they wanted

F them

The ACLU needs to be be classified as the terrorist organization that they are.

Agreed. We’re literally a century late; it was founded on January 19 of 1920.

On Tuesday, acting Chief Gregory T. Monahan claimed officers dispersed the crowds after they began throwing “projectiles including bricks, frozen water bottles and caustic liquids.” “As many of the protestors became more combative, continued to throw projectiles, and attempted to grab officers’ weapons, officers then employed the use of smoke canisters and pepper balls.” Chloroacetophenone (CN) and chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS) are two of the more common compounds, but pepper spray is also considered part of this larger category. (https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jun/5/park-police-spokesman-it-was-mistake-use-tear-gas-) by some sources.

“At approximately 6:33 pm, violent protestors on H Street NW began throwing projectiles including bricks, frozen water bottles and caustic liquids,” the Park Police said in a statement. “The protestors also climbed onto a historic building at the north end of Lafayette Park that was destroyed by arson days prior. Intelligence had revealed calls for violence against the police, and officers found caches of glass bottles, baseball bats and metal poles hidden along the street.”

Delgado said Park Police felt it was right to say tear gas wasn’t used in its Tuesday statement is because they were referring solely to the employment of CN and CS gases, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention labels the “most common” forms of tear gases. The CDC, which also uses the term “riot control agent” for tear gases, also says that “pepper spray” is considered a “riot control agent.” (https://www.fox5dc.com/news/park-police-walk-back-tear-gas-denial-in-aggressive-lafayette-park-clearing)
