Rod Rosenstein’s admission exposed heinous plot against Trump
NY Post ^ | June 03 2020 | David Marcus

One could be forgiven amidst the protests and continuing coronavirus crisis for forgetting that in Washington, DC, this week, Congress is looking into serious allegations that Barack Obama’s Department of Justice was spying on the Trump campaign. In normal times, it would be the biggest news story in America, and Wednesday’s shocking admissions by former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would be an absolute bombshell.

The key moment came in questioning from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who asked, “If you knew then what you know now, would you have signed the warrant application?” referring to a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant renewal concerning Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

“No,” testified Rosenstein, “I would not.”

I would have asked Rosenstein, “Based on what you know now, is it your belief that President Trump or anyone in his campaign colluded with the Russians?”

“No. I would not.”

The hell he wouldn’t. He is as deep state as treasonous communist Brennan and Hussein Obama.

I watched part of the hearing today. He was really good at uttering a lot of weasel words.

Never ask a question you don’t know how the witness will answer. But my opinion is that this hearing was nothing more then a dog and pony show.

When will these lawbreakers be prosecuted? Rosenstein implicated several liars and nothing is being done. Does being a political hack resolve them from prosecution?

Lindsay Graham gave a dog and pony show and nobody came.

Up thread from here is an article offering up the view of George Will that the world will soon forget Donald Trump's administration if he is not reelected. The sad truth is that Will has it right. That is not to endorse his prediction that Donald Trump will not be reelected, it is merely to concede the downside consequences.

The point is that not only do we conservatives swim against a stream of media bias in journalism, we wade against the tide of reinvented history. Already, Rosenstein's incompetence, or his malevolence if you prefer, receives hardly a sideways glance as it slips away among the myths of left-wing history.

“Based on what you know now”

The question should be “based on what you knew then”

Here is what Weasel Will said about Trump in April 2016:

Trump would be the most unpopular nominee ever, unable to even come close to Mitt Romney’s insufficient support among women, minorities and young people. In losing disastrously, Trump probably would create down-ballot carnage sufficient to end even Republican control of the House.

He's very good at getting it wrong.

I am hoping and praying that the video of Rosenstein admitting that the whole scheme was bogus and he was too stupid or lazy to see it, will be used in the Grand Jury testimony when Durham or Barr sees fit.

I think his candor now, will NOT play well if they show his incompetency, idiocy and smugness to a jury when the time comes.

Am I foolishly dreaming.

I watched about 90 seconds of Cruz before I hit the mute button.

If Gowdy, Graham, and Cruz are all that stand between the Tyrannical Left and American Conservatives, we are finished, folks.

I am also no fan of President Trump when it comes to consequentially defending the Conservative narrative.

Win or lose in 2020, Trump will be the last Republican president in American history.

And the plot continues with antifa, the paramilitary arm of the democrat party, now executing armed rebellion against the United States. And yes, one is ‘armed’ if the person carries a hammer, mace, spray paint, pipe, 2 by 4s or other items used as weapons.

Nothing has changed
They still think they're safe, and their treason is ongoing.

Making hay while the sun shines
but the rain is on it's way
damn them
They haven't been keeping an eye on their own roof.

I heard that analogy multiple times from multiple sources almost instantly, while he was still testifying.
