Knife could do major damage with excruciating ,immobilizing pain.
My knife wielder surprised me at arm’s length with no time to draw so lucky my left hand was empty and managed a wrist grab .A right hand grab would have been too late.I haven’t forgotten that incident even though it was many years ago.
Don’t let the knife holder near ,stop them at a safe distance.

I think so. In the case of the two firebombing arsonist lawyers, one has an Islamic name that when googled returns mainly, though not exclusively, Pakistani hits. The lawyer from another firm that provided bail money is Pakistani, IIRC.

I haven’t had time to do much news scrounging this year so maybe have missed a lot, but have you noticed how unexpectedly meek Muslims have been about lockdowns of places of worship? It’s a big deal to go to Friday prayers, I worked for an Islamic guy who would move heaven and hell to get there, even if it cost him business. Covid comes along and they suddenly don’t spaz out by limits on worship services? Not one protest? Not one peep?
Is it because the states didn’t enforce it when it came to mosques and therefor none became offended, or...?
The US ‘press’ tells us the monsters looting and killing are ‘peaceful’... A nutcase with a long knife running at a cop to kill him doesn’t fit their lies... They won’t cover it.
I haven’t looked into it specifically, but as a general rule, police departments in cities with large Muslim populations tend to look the other way when it comes to policing mosques, I’ve noticed. In some areas such as Detroit, certain neighborhoods are virtually under Sharia law rather than U.S. law.
