I concur with one caveat and it is the main reason why I expect Trump to win in November.

Those in charge of the DNC are more “uniparty beltway animals” beholden to special interests and the wealthy elite than the new base of the DNC, which are the far leftists who make the most noise.

The far left, call them Bernie supporters, the AOC wing, the self-proclaimed democratic socialist or communists, do not like Biden, Pelosi, or many of the democratic leadership. They have more disdain for them than we do!

They will not support Biden. Outside of the far left members of congress they don’t support their democrat reps or senators.

Their base is not motivated to vote in November because they want to break the system as you correctly point out.

Biden would lurch left for sure, but it won’t be far enough or fast enough to gain support from those on the left.
