Wilson Goode was a Democrat mayor of Philly - the first black man to hold the job - in the mid '80s and he so bungled a confrontation with left wing black radical activists that his own police force burned down an entire city block and all the activists (including their children) burned to death. This incompetent fool was re-elected two years later and he's still on the city council to this day. Philly hasn't has a republican mayor since the 1952.
Once the democrats have eliminated the publics ability to use logic and reason and get them to react solely on emotion, they can do anything and still win just by demonizing the other guy.

Yes I saw this when I was watching his news conference this morning. Kept repeating it was “white supremacists”. Never mentioned Antifa or blm. This narrative will be repeated hundreds of times in the next few days by all the other dem governors that had riots. Concerted effort to blame the white people and the president. What is sad is people watching this unfold see that at least half if not more of the rioters are black and will still believe the narrative.
