I couldn’t find the video at the link. Maybe it just wouldn’t open. Anyway, I looked it up on YouTube and this is the title of the video: Baltimore City Police Officer Knocks Out Woman with a Sneak Punch on Baltimore & Gay Street. Nothing slanted about that title.

Ok...got it....I realize that.
What I was trying to ‘point out’ that during the last riots the cops would have just walked away shaking their head knowing they were on camera and would probably have been charged with aggravated assault with the White Cop being the instigator because he didn’t move before getting hit.
Looking at that clip one would say the Black Officer should be promoted to Chief and given free rein.
Which would work to a point... Remember the ‘old oaters’ where the town would hire a ‘tamer’ and once he ran the black hat guys out of town, the town would complain because he continued to stop THEM from ‘spitting on the sidewalk, having bar room brawls, gun fights, check your weapons etc, so the town would have to run off the tamer, which allowed the black hats to move back in....
then the procedure starts all over.

I was telling DH about this, and he said, “Oh, did something happen before the woman got punched?” He had seen it on another station and, as many predicted, the part where she slugged the white cop had been edited out.

Wow, daamn, I remember that fight to this day, “the fight of the century” I was 10 and it was devastating. I grew up in NYC and this was the hero of every kid in my school getting knocked out. So damn long ago I can barely believe it. They have the whole fight on Youtube.....
