House Judiciary Committee Member Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Thursday that it is clear to him "big tech" will try to prevent President Trump from being reelected in November.
Gaetz claimed that tech companies "buy off" members of Congress in order to maintain special privileges that local newspapers and television stations do not have.
"That's why the president's executive order is one very important next step," he said. "If we just wait around, big tech will steal this election from Donald Trump and the American people."
"In 2016 we won three Rust Belt states by one [percentage] point each, and that's when no one thought Donald Trump could win," Gaetz added. "In 2020, we've lost the element of surprise, [so] we have to be as aggressive as they are."
Earlier Thursday, accompanied by Attorney General Bill Barr, Trump signed an executive order interpreting Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (CDA) as not providing liability protections for tech companies that engage in censorship and political conduct.

I’m wondering why POTUS didn’t issue this EO right after his election....knowing that social media is leftis and biased...and, that it is one of the biggest ways that he got his winning message out, for the 2016 campaign.

Yeah, and in my opinion, “No SH*T!” To most of us, it will be obvious. The only question will be “Do we lock down and hide and bitch about it on FR or do we actually group up and take action outside of our own personal ‘safety zones’?” If the latter, how do we organize and not be infiltrated?

I think because he really wanted to give the ChiComs a test to see if they would come around...they failed. Now he needs to move fast. Here and abroad.

It has been reported in the last few days that several Silicon Valley Tech Billionaires have gotten together to support Dementia Joe against President Trump.
So, Gaetz is amplifying a call to arms concerning the Globalists martialling their forces against President Trump and by virtue of that, against us. You and me. Against all those who voted for President Trump in 2016.
President Trump’s declaration that the Socialists / Globalists are really after US, and that he is simply in the way is 100% accurate.
They hate we who voted for President Trump far more than they hate him because he can only serve 8 years.
However, WE can put others like Trump in office as many times as we choose and it is this threat that they hate and fear more than anything else.
I do remember Freepers used to meet up but I have not witnessed that in the past few years. If this site goes down,we are nothing so it would be good to have back up and more social connection but Free Republic is a simple forum and not activist beyond the message boards.
