The owner of a Lehigh County gym who opened Sunday in defiance of the shutdown of non-life-sustaining businesses received two summary citations, making it the first Lehigh Valley business cited during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ed G. Frack opened his gym, SuperSets in Hanover Township, and encouraged other struggling small-business owners and anyone who supported them to join him outside the gym.

Maybe I’m dim, but isn’t every business essential to the owner?

I can think of at least three counties (York, Lancaster, & Lebanon) where the DAs have said they will not prosecute any criminal citations against business being open.

PSP can write ‘til they get carpal tunnel in those counties but it would be an exercise in maleficent masturbation.

Guess they forgot to read the 10th Amendment regarding States’ Rights.

This is just practice for them. If they can control our movements now, it’ll be easier next time, and for a lesser reason.

Sounds like a conflict between the first amendment and the tenth amendment. Freedom of religion and assembly versus states’ rights.

"Sounds like a conflict between the first amendment and the tenth amendment. Freedom of religion and assembly versus states’ rights."

It sounds like it, but each Amendment is valid in its own explicit right except for the 18th (prohibition) that was repealed by the 21st Amendment.

However, as someone above pointed out the 1st Amendment (assembly) is more applicable. I probably should have used that one instead of the 10th.

There is going to be a flag waving event at his gym on Sunday from 11-2. We’re going.
(I joined the FB page for ‘Pro Trump flag rallies for Lehigh and Northampton Counties’ & he’s doing this.)
