Murder is a felony in every state in the nation.

[[Class “E” felonies can also be theft, assault, forcible touching, or aggravated harassment. A class E felony NY sentence might be 2-5 years in jail, depending upon the circumstances of the case.]]

not to mention i believe felons can’t own guns

Rebellion against the federal government.

All NYS cops should refuse to work, go on strike. NY has gone from de-criminalizing crime to criminalizing law enforcement.

So true. It’s all unraveling and people no longer care enough to stop it.

It’s not as bad as it sounds.

In New York felons only spend about an hour in jail before they are let go with no bail.

Pardon my French but New York is so “feucked up,” I don’t give a tiny turd if they destroy themselves.
This a pathetic situation. A flaccid governor, a douche bag mayor, a populace that cares not and continues to vote these bastards into office. What could go wrong?
My ancestors were some of the earliest settlers in Brooklyn, (1659) Our family has lived in New Amsterdam and New Jersey for 360 years. I am out now and will never live there again.
Primary counties have been Monmouth and Bergen.
With laws that cripple law enforcement, on the books, what could go wrong.
NY & NJ, good bye cold ass!

I seem to remember libs crowing that states and localities aren’t allowed to interfere with federal law during the SSM debacle.

The fed’s can respond by proclaiming all NY sheriffs, and all other policing agencies to be under a state of permanent Federal Marshal deputization. Thus they can not be charged with a State felony if they run records on illegal aliens to help with federal agencies’ cases.

You mean to tell me that Homeland Security doesn’t have any HACKERS?

All DMV records are data based.

With the ongoing soft coup, I’ve been saying for a while we’re a banana republic without the bananas.

New York government makes police felons, frees felons, and kills old people with biological warfare. And what will the useless idiot voters do? Well, relect them of course.

DMV shares info with many other agencies & entities for identification purposes, including SNAP and Registrars of Voters.
To block immigration & homeland security from accessing DMV records serves no purpose other than to protect noncitizens & facilitate violation of immigration laws.

IMO a case could be made that such selective blocking of immigration & homeland security essentially discriminates in favor of illegal aliens and potential terrorists and against citizens, and is unconstitutional.

I’m honestly confused by this. At first glance I think New York is on solid legal ground here — for the same reason that a state government or county sheriff has no obligation to help the FBI enforce Federal gun laws.

What this simply means is that a NY vehicle registration has no functional purpose for U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents — or for any Federal official. It’s no different than a NY driver’s license that may let you drive in New York — but cannot be used as a form of ID for any purpose under Federal law.

Maybe I’m missing something here?

IIRC, NYS allows the IRS to access state records.

Reminds me of Jamie Gorelick and the “wall” that prevented information sharing between federal agencies which (supposedly) led to 9/11.

I’m a huge privacy advocate, but not for people here illegally.

We spy on our own citizens and protect the privacy of illegals. What’s wrong with this picture?

So true. It’s all unraveling and people no longer care enough to stop it.

I remember having this conversation about Europeans 20+ years ago.....the people no longer cared and they just kept re-electing from the same pool of statists who kept the march toward global socialism moving.

Even the opening of borders in Europe to the migrants inflamed only a few. Merkel was re-elected and the people just accept it.

They do not care about their culture, history or nation....those things are nationalist and evil, according to their gov't masters.

It is the same in deep blue areas of this nation where people are lectured about racism and the needs of trespassers while the needs of citizens are ignored. But the people accept this and keep voting for it.

US became a full fledged official banana republic under NR Nixon. The rest of you must have missed the memo.
