I was unaware of Senator Ted Stevens’ case and had to look it up. He went through his own hell. After the case against him was dismissed in 2009:
“He wanted legislation passed to spare others the injustice he endured — especially those who do not have 12 lawyers representing them.”
It doesn’t sound like much has changed since then.
The ignorant hack in a robe could not write a response based on law in a
year, much less 10 days. That’s why he hired a smart white female to do
it for him.
How he rose up the ranks into his position is beyond me.

It astounds me how many people do NOT see how that works, although I suppose a good number of them DO see how it works but simply refuse to acknowledge it.
When the Department of Justice no longer chooses to prosecute Flynn, where is his accuser? Judge Sullivan is a fool to persue this case. It will be undone by the Supreme Court if he chooses to go ahead. He is just being a democrat in trying to punish Flynn. There is no case against him anymore. Judge Sullivan is severely damaging his reputation by continuing on.
Nope. One committed suicide because he thought he would be disbarred. the others were suspended by the DOJ for about a week and went right back to work.

I think a lot of it has to do with the color of the chump’s skin.
I’ll go a step further and say Judge Sullivan needs to spark a new definition of ‘hanging judge.’ The behavior is so outrageous that a Nuremburg trial and hempen necktie therapy would be in order here.
I’d bet anything he’s using the court’s $$$ to pay for this. That’s what other articles have suggested on the other hires he’s done. Also other articles said he stated to the court all his shenanigans were being done because he was concerned how Flynn’s release could affect the election, going agains this sworn duty to uphold the law. He should be disbarred, and removed.
A judge on a case does not get to argue the appeal of one of his decisions to the appellate division. That job is for opposing attorneys. He should just submit the factual affidavit providing for his reasons not to dismiss on his own without legal argument and the appellate division should not recognize any attorney he has hired to make a legal argument for him as he is not a party to the case. The judge is a politically partisan dirtbag.
Wonder when the race card will be played by the judge.

If anyone other than the judge is paying the lawyer, Sullivan must report it as a gift. Likewise, he must report it as a gift if the lawyer is working pro bono.
Several things:
1) Would love to be a fly on Sullivan’s office wall.
2) Who is coaching Sullivan?
3) Who is paying Wilkerson?
