This is an incredibly slanted article, but I am wondering why Sullivan is doing this? Is he just seeking advice on options? Can he not write his won brief explaining his reasoning? Or is he in a bit of a bind because he has given a Flynn an opening to sue him for violating his civil rights, which would normally be extreme, but Sullivan’s express contempt for Flynn is extreme. Sullivan is obviously in on the deepstate cabal.

Wonder if the Judge suspects a hacking of his financial records has occurred. Why else would a Federal judge need a defense attorney? This judge may be very nervous.
I think he needs a mouthpiece that can articulate “the devil (Obama) made me do it” eloquently.
If he doesn’t drop the case, he will be forced off by the higher court. This judge, based on the false witness testimony of FBI and prosecutors, accused Flynn of Treason! He walked it back later, but it only goes to show the extent to which the conspiracy almost succeeded - even snowing the judge. He is either highly partisan, or in some form of denial. A clear headed impartial judge would have dropped this case immediately and slapped sanctions on the prosecutors and the investigators. Instead of hiring a defense lawyer, he should be referring the prosecution team to federal prosecutors.

When a judge has to hire a trial lawyer to defend himself, that judge is in deep do-do.

Is this even legal? I mean if he needs to hire a lawyer with all the attendant privacy privileged, and the taxpayer is footing that bill, that seems to be an admission that he can’t do his job.
